چکیده
Renanthera imschootiana Rolfe is an extremely rare and endangered tropical epiphytic orchid. Studies on in vitro culture of R. were conducted order to conserve increase the genetic pool this wild orchid species. In study, effect plant growth regulators (BA NAA), ripe bananas combination with potato, humic acid, silver nanoparticles (AgNPs) investigated find a suitable condition for regeneration from protocorm-like body (PLB). The results showed that after 45 days culture, MS medium supplemented 100 g banana/liter potato/liter was regenerating shoots (PLB) (17.56 shoots/PLBs 100.00% shoot-regenerating PLBs); 2.0 mg/L BA, 0.3 NAA 4 ppm AgNPs most 60 (10.00 leaves/shoot shoot length 4.22 cm). transferred half-strength acid investigate root formation imschootiana. After best rooting obtained at 6 (8.33 roots/shoot; 4.00 cm formation). findings suggest micropropagation provides useful alternative tool conservation

In Vitro Propagation and Reintroduction of the Endangered Renanthera imschootiana Rolfe
Renanthera imschootiana Rolfe is an endangered tropical epiphytic orchid that is threatened with extinction due to over-collection and the loss of suitable habitats. In vitro propagation is a useful way to mass produce plants for re-establishment in the wild and for commercial propagation. Seeds collected 150 days after pollination (DAP) were the optimum stage for in vitro culture. Seed germina...
متن کاملAmmonium to Nitrate Ratio Affects Protocorm Like Bodies PLB Formation In vitro of Hybrid Cymbidium
Carbon and nitrogen are the two elements that most affect plant organogenesis. In vitro, usually as part of the macronutrients. Some anecdotal evidence from the literature suggests that the ammonium (NH4+) to nitrate (NO3–) ratio may affect orchid organogenesis. In this study, to test this hypothesis, different NH4+: NO3– ratios were tested on the development of protocorm-like bodies (PLBs) of ...

متن کاملPhysical wounding and ethylene stimulated embryogenic stem cell proliferation and plantlet regeneration in protocorm-like bodies of Phalaenopsis orchids.
Phalaenopsis orchids have been regenerated by inducing protocorm-like bodies (PLBs) from etiolated leaf sections. However, the physiological and molecular mechanisms of secondary PLB development and subsequent proliferation have not been explored. Bisectionally cutting primary PLBs resulted in more secondary PLBs at 5 weeks, suggesting an embryogenic stem cell property imposed by wounding of pr...
متن کاملProtocorms and Protocorm-Like Bodies Are Molecularly Distinct from Zygotic Embryonic Tissues in Phalaenopsis aphrodite.
The distinct reproductive program of orchids provides a unique evolutionary model with pollination-triggered ovule development and megasporogenesis, a modified embryogenesis program resulting in seeds with immature embryos, and mycorrhiza-induced seed germination. However, the molecular mechanisms that have evolved to establish these unparalleled developmental programs are largely unclear. Here...
